Pompeii and Ercolano are not far from each other. While Pompeii was the city of commerce, Ercolano was the residential area with rich villas of the wealthy Romans.
Visiting both sites allows you to have a complete picture of the uses and customs of ancient Rome. After the visit of this unique archaeological area your tour proceeds to the discovery of the Vesuvius, that dominates the entire Gulf of Naples and can be reached up to 1,000 meters with by car.
